Example: how to choose the take-profit level
For instance, you want to buy 8 lots of GBPUSD. The current price of this pair is 1,27140, and you expect it to rise. You set the matching trading volume and open price, and start calculating potential profit for various close price values. For the close price of 1,27165, the expected profit is 200 USD, while the close price of 1,27180 results in 320 USD. Extra 120 USD seems significant, but since you are not sure the price will hit 1,27180, you choose 1,27165 as your take-profit level to increase the chances of a profitable order.
