EUR/USD finds support near 1.1020
FXStreet (Edinburgh) - The common currency has found decent support around 1.1020 vs. the dollar during the European morning, with EUR/USD bouncing to 1.1030/35.
EUR/USD consolidating above 1.1000
After the morning dip to the 1.0960 area following the PBoC unexpected move on the CNY, spot sparked a correction higher along with an increasing selling interest in the greenback and later supported by (in general) auspicious results from the ZEW Survey in Germany and the euro area.
Back to the Greek front, the country has clinched a third bailout deal with the EU institutions worth nearly €90 billion. Ahead in the session, second-tier releases in US will comprise Nonfarm Productivity and Unit Labor Costs during the second quarter.
EUR/USD key levels
As of writing the pair is advancing 0.14% at 1.1034 with the next hurdle at 1.1080 (high Jul.29) ahead of 1.1113 (high Jul.31) and then 1.1129 (high Jul.27). On the downside, a break below 1.0961 (low Aug.11) would target 1.0855 (low Aug.7) en route to 1.0848 (low Aug.5).
